KUCHING: Sarawak Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) will use its own logo in the coming 12th state election and the 15th general election.
The decision has been unanimously agreed to by all its members during a recent meeting of the party’s State Leadership Council (MKN).
It was, however, only released yesterday after all the other state PKR MKNs nationwide issued official statements pertaining to the use of the party logo.
In the media statement issued by its information secretariat, Sarawak PKR said its MKN decided to use its own logo as it had long been known by the people, especially the voters in Sarawak.
“Also, the use of the logo had previously been successful in toppling the Barisan Nasional regime which had been in power for more than 60 years during the 14th general election on May 9, 2018.”
According to the PKR information secretariat, all PKR branch leaders throughout the state have agreed and are giving full support to the decision.
