Sarawak fighters dominate opening day of RFC 2025

KUCHING: The Rentap Fighting Championship (RFC) 2025 kicked off with a bang on its opening day, delivering thrilling action and electrifying moments.

In addition to 13-year-old sensation Mia Ghazali, three other fighters from Sarawak emerged victorious in their bouts, showcasing Sarawak’s rising talent in the sport.

Chica, representing Rentap Muay Thai, triumphed in the 24-26kg semi-pro category, dominating Bunga Cinta from Selangor.

Meanwhile, Nurizman from Sting Muay Thai emerged victorious in the 57-58kg category, defeating Johor’s Hasaridzwan, who represented Colloseum MMA.

Sarawak’s Mohammad Izzat from SS Fighters Muay Thai also joined the winner’s circle, defeating Penang’s Aiman Buakaw, who fought for Kuda Putih, in the 60kg category.

As the second day of RFC unfolds, the excitement continues to build with some highly anticipated matchups. Izzati from Rajawali Muay Thai will face Damia from Pendowo Limo Muay Thai for the Mini Flyweight National Championship.

In Bout 3, Sarawak’s Hasbullah will compete against Amirul from Penang for the Bantamweight National Championship in the 54kg division.

Another highlight is the showdown between Rentap Muay Thai’s Kabilan Jelevan and Kenyan fighter Dave from Superbon Training Camp in a highly anticipated 62kg Bout 4.

Rentap Muay Thai’s own Miki Ghazali will take on Indonesia’s Mustakim in Bout 6, battling it out in the 53.5kg category.

The night’s headline fight promises to be a showstopper, as Sarawak’s star, Daeloniel ‘Kilat Boy’, takes on Indonesia’s Boido Simanjuntak in the 55kg division.

This highly anticipated bout is sure to light up the night as fans eagerly await the fierce bout.

As the championship continues, fans can expect more high-octane action and fierce rivalries as Sarawak’s finest take on the best from across the region.
