Sarawak delegation tours Tech Dome Penang

KUCHING: Minister for Education, Innovation and Talent Development, Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn, his two deputies and senior ministry officials visited Tech Dome Penang on Tuesday (Sept 13).

The visit is to have a better understanding of the initiatives and programmes conducted by the science centre and also to explore collaborative opportunities to encourage STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education.

Upon arrival at the centre, the delegates were greeted by Tech Dome Penang chief executive officer Khoo Boo Wooi, senior marketing and communication manager Oun Sui Leng and senior management officials.

They were briefed on the background and the operations of the centre, including the model for STEM programmes for primary and secondary schools, artificial intelligence and robotics. Later, the delegates toured the science exhibits.
