KUCHING: The Sarawak Democratic Action Party (DAP) has hosted a media appreciation night themed “Aloha” to acknowledge the contributions of media practitioners in the state.
The event, held at a local hotel here last night (Dec 6), was attended by over 100 people, including media practitioners and party members.
Speaking to reporters, Sarawak DAP chairman and Stampin MP Chong Chieng Jen shared his hopes for a more prosperous future for the state and its people.
“Next year, I hope Sarawak will continue to develop and progress, and that the people of Sarawak will grow wealthier and more prosperous.
“I also wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2025,” he said.
The night featured a lucky draw, with numerous prizes, including two Apple iPads as the grand prizes.
Guests also enjoyed a variety of delicious food and drinks prepared by the hotel.
Among those present at the event were Mas Gading MP Mordi Bimol and Pending assemblywoman Violet Yong.
