KUCHING: The State Development Office (PPNS) Sri Aman recently launched its Santuni Asnaf Programme, which brought cheers to twenty e-Kasih heads of households in Sri Aman and Betong in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
Each of the selected households received RM500 cash donations and food baskets to alleviate their expenses.
The Santuni Asnaf Programme is in line with the six main ideas of the Implementation Coordination Unit, Prime Minister’s Department (ICU JPM), which aims to improve the economy, standard of living, and poverty alleviation through the e-Kasih platform.
Moreover, the Santuni Asnaf Programme reinforces the image of PPN Sarawak as a responsive agency dedicated to eradicating poverty.
PPNS Sri Aman chief assistant director Radiah Muhamed @ Muhamad led the handing over at Masjid Darul Na’aim Kampung Melayu Engkelili, Masjid Darul Solihin Debak, and various houses in Pantu District.
