KUCHING: Satok Community Sports Club (KSK) donated food for sahur (meal consumed by Muslims early in the morning before fasting) to 20 villagers in conjunction with its KSK Satok 2.0 Singgah Sahur programme.
According to a Sarawak Public Communications Unit report on Monday (April 11), the meals were handed over by Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki to the less fortunate, people with disabilities and senior citizens from Kampung No. 3, 4 and 5.
“This is the second programme after the first one back in 2019. It is hoped that the meals would be able to ease some of the burden of the recipients,” said Ibrahim and KSK Satok.
