MIRI: Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Piasau Branch distributed a total of 800 safety kits to hawkers last Sunday (June 26).
The team, led by Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Datuk Sebastian Ting, headed to Lutong Bazaar and Lutong Sunday Market to hand out the kits.
In another development, Ting, who is also the Piasau assemblyman, represented Deputy Premier Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian at the Bintulu SUPP 60th anniversary do.
The event saw the installation of the new committee, Youth, Women, Senior Section and Bumi Section.
