KUCHING: SABATI (Sarawak Badan Amal Tenaga Isteri-isteri) members visited patients at the Heart Centre, Sarawak General Hospital (SGH), Samarahan, yesterday in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration.
The members were led by their president, Datin Patinggi Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang who is also the Chief Minister’s wife.
During the visit, they distributed mandarin oranges and angpau to 110 patients.
The group continued their visit to the Sarawak General Hospital in the afternoon where angpau and CNY goodies were also given out to 45 patients at the Children Cancer Ward and another 120 patients at the Maternity Ward.
Among the Sabati group were its deputy president Datin Amar Doreen Mayang, honorary secretary Datin Dr Zaliha Christine Abdullah, SGH deputy director Dr Mohd Asri Riffin and deputy director (Clinical) Dr Norinawati Abang Daud.
