KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud received a courtesy call from members of Association of Wives of Ministers (Sabati) led by their president Datin Patinggi Dato Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang at Demak Jaya here.
Their purpose was to invite Taib and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib to attend a “tahlil” (10th anniversary) ceremony for Taib’s late wife Datuk Patinggi Laila Taib.
The “Tahlil” organised by Sabati in collboration with Perkim Sarawak at Masjid Darul Hana, Petra Jaya is set for March 7.
Also present were Perkim Sarawak chairperson Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib-Alsree.
