KUCHING: Sarawak Amateur Boxing Association (SABA) president Datuk Rahman Lariwoo observed a quiet Hari Raya Aidilfitri at his home in Matang Jaya.
He shared that the celebration was kept simple following the recent passing of his father-in-law.
“This year, I am celebrating with my children only. It is not as lively as previous years.
“Nevertheless, I would like to wish everyone a Happy Hari Raya Aidilfitri,” he shared during his open house today (Apr 1).
Despite the subdued atmosphere, friends from different races and religions visited to extend their well wishes.
Guests were treated to a spread of traditional festive dishes, including rendang, ketupat, chicken curry, freshwater prawns, assorted cakes, and Sarawak’s iconic kek lapis.
