MIRI: SOP Foundation has announced the launch of the Healthy Strides Run 2025, set to take place on April 27 at Marina ParkCity, here.
In a significant commitment to the cause, the foundation will match every ringgit raised from public registration fees, with all proceeds directed to Healthy Strides Malaysia.
Registration is now open and will close on April .
“This run is more than just an event; it is a show of solidarity for children and families affected by cerebral palsy and autism.
“Through this initiative, we aim to raise both funds and awareness while fostering a more compassionate and inclusive society,” said Paul Wong Hee Kwong, Trustee of SOP Foundation.
Healthy Strides Malaysia, based here, provides world-class, evidence-based intensive therapy for children with cerebral palsy, autism, and other developmental or motor challenges.
The centre operates in partnership with The Healthy Strides Foundation, a globally recognised paediatric clinic in Perth, Western Australia.
This collaboration ensures that cutting-edge research and clinical expertise are integrated into therapy programmes here.
Beyond fundraising, Healthy Strides Run 2025 seeks to challenge stigma and encourage a deeper understanding of neurodiversity.
By sparking open conversations, increasing visibility, and promoting inclusion, the event aims to foster meaningful public participation.
