MIRI: Datuk Rosey Yunus has stressed the crucial role of the civil service in ensuring the successful execution of the national agenda with utmost dedication.

Acknowledging the challenges faced by civil servants, the Sarawak Deputy Minister for Women, Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development highlighted the constant monitoring, observation and judgment they endure from the public regarding their ability to carry out their duties.

“However, we need to look at this positively so that every task that we are responsible for can be carried out as best as possible.

“It is imperative that we execute our duties with unwavering commitment and sincerity in the interest of the wellbeing and prosperity of our country,” she said at the Majlis Ramah Tamah 2023 event here on Tuesday (June 27).

The Bekenu assemblywoman stressed the need for continuous improvement in public services, focusing on initiatives aimed at benefiting the people.

As a demonstration of her commitment, she announced an allocation of RM2,000 from her Minor Rural Project (MRP) to the Lopeng’s Wisma Persekutuan Maintenance Coordination Committee.
