KUCHING: Calling all rock enthusiasts! The idyllic Sarawak Cultural Village is set to transform into a mosh pit paradise from Dec 28-29 as the highly anticipated Rock in the Jungle (RITJ) festival takes centre stage.
Organised by Authentic Ideas & Events with the backing of the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts (MTCP) and Tourism Malaysia, the festival promises an unforgettable two-day extravaganza.
Against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Santubong, music lovers will be treated to a legendary lineup.
Rock icons like Wings, Sweet Charity, Edane, and XPDC will share the stage with Sarawak’s own powerhouse bands, including Candy and Jemson.
The Pancaindera Stage will come alive from 2 pm onwards, showcasing the talents of Sarawak’s up-and-coming rock scene with bands like Senseless, BNB, Criss X, and JS Boys.
Beyond the pulsating music, attendees can explore a vibrant array of food stalls, handicraft exhibits, and exclusive RITJ merchandise, making this a truly immersive cultural experience.
