JULAU: Works for the road maintenance project to three longhouses, namely, Rumah Meru, Rumah Sumping and Rumah Umar in Ulu Entaih here is running smoothly.

Meluan assemblyman’s representative Joshua Gundi said the project was among the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) projects in Meluan constituency.

“Until today, the maintenance work on the road to the three longhouses is progressing steadily according to plan.

“However, it depends on the weather conditions because if it rains, maintenance work has to be halted for safety purposes,” he said after visiting the project site as reported by Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) yesterday.
