SAMARAHAN: Road maintenance at Jalan Muara Tuang/Stakan Melayu here is expected to start today until July 21.
The Public Works Department (JKR) in a statement said that the repair and maintenance work here is expected to commence at 9 tonight.
The department added that the road closure would only be made if heavy machineries require ample space to execute the work.
However, the road would be open as soon as possible to ease traffic flow. JKR Samarahan division will notify road users should there be any changes in the maintenance duration or areas involved in the works.
Road users are also advised to plan their journey beforehand, obey the safety signages erected in the affected areas and follow instructions by flag holders to ease traffic flow.
