KUCHING: Members of the public are advised to take note of the temporary road closure at the road affecting the traffic light to turn to Jalan Stampin along Jalan Tun Jugah from Dec 26 to 31.
Sarawak Metro in a notice said the road closure is part of the ongoing development of the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS) Phase 1, which includes the construction and completion of infrastructure works for the Red Line from Kuching Sentral to Pending.
The temporary road closure is to make way for traffic light relocation and construction works.
Road users are advised to be cautious when driving in the area during the temporary road closure period.
It also urged road users to adhere to all traffic management control measures, including road warning signs and speed limits, to ensure the safety of road users and construction workers.
Meanwhile, the public will be duly notified if there are any changes to the temporary road closure dates.
