RM830,000 RTP projects in Kabong set for timely completion

KABONG: Seven projects falling under the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) within the constituency, amounting to RM830,000 in value, are expected to be completed within a three-month timeframe.

Kabong assemblyman Mohd Chee Kadir announced that these projects encompass the improvement of six jetty lanes and the enhancement of the People’s Sports Centre within the constituency.

“The handover of project sites to contractors was successfully completed on Wednesday, and I hope they can do their best to meet the stipulated deadline, which is within three months, by Dec 6.”

His comments followed a brief ceremony for the project site handover here on today (Sept 7).

Mohd Chee also detailed the projects approved by the Sarawak government, which include the upgrade of the Lorong Haji Masron jetty in Kampung Hilir Sungai Pala, with a budget of RM120,000.

“Secondly, the upgrade of the Lorong Sani Senawi jetty in Kampung Hilir Sungai Pala, with the same budget.

Thirdly, the upgrade of the Lorong Indera Jobli jetty in Kampung Hulu Laut, with an allocation of RM150,000.”

He further elaborated that three additional projects involve road improvements in Kampung Metang Desa, specifically Lorong Ismawi Mahrip, Lorong Pak Noi, and Lorong Haji Sulaiman, each with a budget of RM120,000.

“Another project is the enhancement of the Kabong People’s Sports Centre, with an allocated budget of RM80,000. These projects should not be underestimated in terms of scale.

“I have high expectations that Alison Company, Wan Eha Enterprise, Nasthatia Enterprise Company, Anunroy Company, Alya Aina Company, Blessed Pinnacles Company, and Nurul Cahaya Enterprise Company will ensure that the projects are completed as scheduled and adhere to the specified specifications,” he added.
