RM6,000 for upgrading Batu Kawa shooting range

KUCHING: Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar yesterday presented RM6,000   to the Kuching District Police Headquarters (IPD) Club for  upgrading the shooting range at Batu Kawa.

“Everyone is actually asked to contribute RM100 each to help improve the shooting range but I have asked my officer to check  how much they needed and they told us they needed about RM7,500,” said the Minister.

He told reporters this after attending the Southern Zone Shooting Skill Test for Individual with A Licence (pistol) organised by IPD Kuching held at the range yesterday.

The donation was received by Kuching Police Chief, ACP Abang Ahmad Abang Julai.
