LUNDU: Infrastructure facilities in Kampung Sebako 1 will be improved through a RM2 million agricultural road upgrading project.

Opar assemblyman, Billy Sujang, who recently visited the site said the project involves two routes — the road leading to the old cemetery area and the road to Sibatok, which is frequently used by residents to access their agricultural areas.

The project will cover several key components, including the construction of a bridge, the upgrading of the agricultural road to the old cemetery, and the extension of the road to the Sibatok area.

In relation to this, Billy said the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of Kampung Sebako 1 has been requested to begin preliminary work on the routes.

“This is important to facilitate the Department of Drainage and Irrigation (DID) in carrying out the actual distance measurement before the project is implemented,” he said.

The project is expected to bring significant benefits to the residents, particularly by easing access to agricultural areas and supporting the improvement of basic amenities in the village.
