MIRI: Minister of Transport Datuk Lee Kim Shin on Saturday (Aug 7) disbursed RM167,000 in minor rural project (MRP) funds to 23 recipients here.

The fund given to the various organisations is to support their programmes and activities which will complement or supplement some of the government programmes.

Meanwhile, Lee also sought the help of the organisations to check with their members and families whether all those eligible for vaccination have been vaccinated.

“Should there be anyone who is not yet vaccinated, they can do so via walk-in at any one of the three public vaccination centres, namely Curtin University, Eastwood Valley and Riam Road Secondary School Hall,” he said.

The cooperation of members of the public is sought to encourage anyone who have not yet been vaccinated to do so as soon as possible.
