KUCHING: Lubok Antu MP Roy Angau Gingkoi has proposed the construction of the Engkelili Riverbank to enhance the socioeconomic landscape of the area.

The proposal envisions a new iconic landmark aimed at boosting local tourism and stimulating the economy.

This initiative was a key topic of discussion during Roy’s courtesy meeting with Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas at his office recently.

Roy remains hopeful about the project’s potential to generate economic prosperity for Engkelili’s residents. He believed that the construction of the riverbank will not only invigorate the local economy but also position Engkelili as an attractive destination for both domestic and international tourists.
