LIMBANG: A local man sustained a shoulder injury after crashing his motorcycle while trying to avoid a dog at Taman Polo Bunga, Jalan Kubong late last night (Jan 15).

Civil Defence Force (APM) Limbang district officer Capt Bonnie Madisun said they received a distress call at 11.50 pm and deployed a four-man team to the scene.

Upon arrival, the team found the victim lying by the roadside and administered first aid.

“The victim was reportedly on his way home from town when he encountered a dog in the middle of the road.

“To avoid hitting the dog, the man lost control of his motorcycle and crashed, resulting in a right shoulder injury that left him unable to move,” he said.

The team later transported the victim to Limbang Hospital for further medical treatment.
