THE proposal to repair and renovate the Bintangor Sports Complex has been submitted under the 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP), says Assistant Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Snowdan Lawan.
“Once the proposal is approved, the repair and renovation work will commence accordingly,” he said in response to a question from Datuk Ding Kuong Hiing (SUPP-Meradong) at the DUN sitting on today.
He further elaborated that the upgrading of the existing running track would take about six months.
“There are three types of rubberised running tracks that we are going to use – pre-fabricated rubber, sandwich system and spray coating,” he added.
