BINTULU: Tanjong Batu assemblyman, Johnny Pang Leong Ming, visited the drainage system at Kampung Assyakirin Phase 2, accompanied by staff from the Tanjong Batu Service Centre and representatives from the Bintulu Development Authority (BDA) recently.

The visit aimed to assess the current situation and understand the challenges faced by the local residents regarding the drainage system in the area.

During the visit, Pang also expressed his full support for the village head in voicing concerns about drainage issues to the relevant authorities.

He acknowledged that there is an urgent need for improvements and expansion of the drainage system to address the ongoing problems in the area.

“I will ensure that this issue receives immediate attention, and effective solutions will be implemented,” he said, demonstrating his commitment to resolving the issue for the benefit of the villagers.

Meanwhile, the local authorities are expected to conduct a more in-depth study and take appropriate actions to upgrade the drainage system at Kampung Assyakirin Phase 2.
