MIRI: A 32-year-old man, who punched his mother, has been remanded for four days
The man became aggressive after he was told not to make noise at a house in Taman Tunku here last Wednesday (June 24).
Magistrate Md Syafique Md Hilmie issued the order after allowing a case application by investigating officer Sergeant Daevora Julaimi.
The man was believed to be under the influence of alcohol when he attacked his 59-year-old mother at 12.01am.
The victim, who sustained injuries to her face, lodged a police report later that morning.
Following the report, the suspect was detained by police at 1.45am.
