KUCHING: Hidup Kuching is organising a new Savage One Recruitment Drive to promote e-sports.
Bandar Kuching Member of Parliament (MP) Dr Kelvin Yii Lee Wuen said the event wa being organised in collaboration with his office.
“There are three top games lined up for the participants, namely, Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB), PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile (PUBGM) and Valorant.
“This tournament is open to Malaysians aged 15- to 30-years old only. So, Kuching gamers of MLBB, PUBGM and Valorant do hurry up and register now,” he said on Thursday.
He disclosed that Save One was recruiting gamers with the aim of promoting Kuching’s e-sports scene to the highest level as well as educating all gamers to thrive in a competitive environment for a better future.
The dates of the tournament are April 6 to 10 for MLBB, April 20 to 24 for PUBGM and May 4 to 8 for Valorant.
The prize pool distribution is RM1000 for each game; the champion will bring home RM500, second place winner RM300 and third place winner RM200.
