SEBUYAU: Seven households in Sebuyau have been equipped with essential tools and resources under Phase 2 of the Inisiatif Pendapatan Rakyat-Basmi Miskin Tegar (IPR-BMT) programme, spearheaded by the Socio-Economic Development Unit of the Regional Corridor Development Authority (RECODA).
The handover ceremony, held today (Jan 3), marked a significant step in empowering these families to embark on transformative economic ventures, such as cash crop farming, fish entrepreneurship, sewing, and fertigated farming.
The initiative aims to provide sustainable avenues for income generation, thereby improving the standard of living for participants.
Sebuyau District Officer, along with representatives from RECODA, the Sebuyau District Office, and community leaders, were present to witness the event.
