Every Muslim, I believe, must have their own resolution in the month of Ramadan, which has just left us.
It may be wanting to lose weight, give charity or donate as much as possible, or anything else that is good.
New Sarawak Tribune asked some people about their personal achievements during the holy month, and here are their responses:
Azlan Mohamed
My goal as a personal shopper throughout the holy month is to make more money so that I can help others in need. Alhamdulillah, since Ramadan is a month filled with grace and blessings, I was able to meet my target and make a larger profit than I did during the previous Ramadan. I am incredibly appreciative of Allah’s many blessings as well as my family’s ongoing support. I’d like to take this opportunity to wish a Selamat Hari Raya to all Muslims. May we belong to the group of people whose actions are always appreciated and loved.
Naila Syarfina Abdul Aziz
In addition to confinement care, confinement food, and beauty and spa, my team and I have successfully expanded our business to include hairdressing. Alhamdulillah, the service has been well received thus far. I, along with my staff, am now offering a variety of confinement services to mothers who have given birth. We are qualified and registered confinement ladies, so don’t worry. If any of you need beauty and confinement services, please don’t hesitate to call me at 010-9612343. To all Muslims, my team and I at Naila Postnatal Care wish you a Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Maaf Zahir dan Batin.

During Ramadan, I personally accomplished the goal of brisk walking three times a week before breaking fast. As a result, I was able to drop a few kilogrammes and feel better about my body. In addition, I have been able to spend time with my family during the fasting month; in other months, we are all preoccupied with work. I would like to wish all Muslims and anyone who knows me a Selamat Hari Raya! I warmly invite all of my acquaintances to come over to my place this Raya.
Syukri Abdul Hamid
My goal during the fasting month this year is to regularly work out an hour before breaking fast. I hope that this endeavour will always be persistent. On this occasion, I would like to wish a Selamat Hari Raya to all of my Muslim brothers and sisters. May we all find a million meanings in this year’s Raya.
Anisah Mohd Suut
My biggest accomplishment is that I fulfilled every cake and cookie order that my customers placed. I’ll carry on with direct sales through events and programmes at shopping centres and medical facilities around Kuching after Hari Raya. To all Muslims, especially my family in Kuching and my husband’s family in Bintulu, I wish you all a Selamat Hari Raya.
Ahmad Dzulfadzli Hamdan
I made the decision to shed 10 kilogrammes during the fasting month of Ramadan. However, I was only able to lose two kilogrammes. I will carry out my mission after Hari Raya since I want to feast on Raya food as much as possible. Reducing the amount of time my family and I spend at bazaars and eating out is another accomplishment. We prefer to prepare meals at home because it is more cost-effective and allows us to prepare healthier meals. I am now more interested in cooking than I was before, since I cook a lot during the month of fasting. I would want to use this opportunity to wish all Muslims and everybody who knows me a Selamat Hari Raya and Maaf Zahir dan Batin.

I’ve learned to be more patient in handling everything during this year’s fasting month, both in my personal and professional life. As a sales executive at Habib’s Kuching branch, I can attest to the unanticipated rise in the price of gold during this year’s Ramadan and Syawal. Since gold is one of the greatest platforms that guarantees double returns to investors and is impervious to inflation, a large number of customers come to our branch to invest in gold. To all Muslims, Minal Aidin Wal Faizin, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, and Maa
