Ramadan bazaar stall rentals are now open

KUCHING: Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) is preparing to offer stalls for the upcoming Ramadan bazaar at Satok from March 2 to 30.

The available stalls and their respective rental fees are as follows: Beverage stalls, with 18 units available, are priced at RM450.00 each. Food stalls, with 72 units available, are also priced at RM450.00 each. Grilled items stalls, with 4 units available, are priced at RM500.00 each.

Registration for the Ramadan Bazaar stalls will commence on Tuesday (Jan 21), from 9 am to 5 pm.

Applications can be submitted online via the DBKU website at https://dbku.sarawak.gov.my/.

All applicants are reminded to provide a valid phone number and email address for seamless communication regarding the status of their applications.

Applicants are also required to upload the following documents:

  • A passport-sized photo of the applicant and their stall assistants/workers.
  • Copies of the identification cards of the applicant and their stall assistants/workers.
  • Copies of the Food Handling Course certificates for the applicant and their stall assistants/workers.
  • Copies of the Health Check Reports with typhoid vaccination (Vaccine Kepialu) for the applicant and their stall assistants/workers.
  • A copy of the DBKU Food Handler’s Card, if available.

Please be informed that all applications will be screened, and incomplete submissions will not be processed.

Only successful applicants will be contacted by DBKU via phone or email for further guidance, including attendance at a briefing session and a stall number draw, followed by payment on Saturday (Feb 8) at the DBKU Auditorium, Bukit Siol, Jalan Semariang.
