SIBU: Sibu Hospital Board of Visitors is raising funds to help Sibu Hospital buy more medical supplies like face masks, sanitisers, soaps, etc.
Sibu Hospital Board of Visitors chairman Stanley Chiew said those who wanted to donate could transfer or bank in their money to Lembaga Pelawat Hospital Sibu (Maybank account number: 5112 1616 2896).
“Recently, we encouraged the public to make donations through online transfers. Our board members won’t go out personally to request the public to donate or accept any cash from public.
“For any enquiries, please contact me at 016-8005838,” he told New Sarawak Tribune yesterday.
After donating, he said the public could WhatsApp him and send him their transfer slips so that he could issue acknowledgement letters to them.
“We also request the public to donate medical related materials like face masks, sanitisers, safety gowns, etc.
“Before donating any materials, please inform me first so that I can check with the hospital whether the materials are suitable or not.
“After confirmation, we will prepare the donation letters and arrange time for the donation,” added Chiew.
