KUCHING: Sarawak Public Works Department (PWD) director Dr Cassidy Morris has been appointed as an honorary member of the Building Information Modelling (BIM) Malaysia Association.
The association in a statement expressed its appreciation for Cassidy’s acceptance of the appointment, which it sees as a significant milestone in fostering closer collaboration between BIM Malaysia and Sarawak PWD.
The partnership is set to support the vision of Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg to expand the implementation of BIM technology across the state.
The honorary membership certificate was presented to Dr Cassidy by BIM Malaysia Secretary Muhammad Iyas Mahzan during a ceremony recently.
Also present were fellow honorary member Muhammad Khairi Sulaiman and several officers from Sarawak PWD.
