SIBU: Police are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing a teenage girl who has been missing since Nov 14.
Sibu police chief ACP Zulkipli Suhaili said the girl’s mother lodged a missing person report on Nov 17 at 5.28 pm.
“The girl, identified as 17-year-old Nursyasya Izzati Abdullah, left her family home at 11.30 pm on Nov 14 and has not returned ever since. Despite initial search efforts, her whereabouts remain unknown.
“We call on members of the public with information to come forward and assist the police in the search,” he said.
Nursyasya is described as 160cm tall with long black hair and fair skin, and of slim built. She was last seen wearing a red collared T-shirt and dark trousers.
