SIBU: Prominent local businessman, Tie Seng Tuang, passed away recently at Miri Hospital.
He was 86.
The late Tie was laid to rest at Nirvana Memorial Park at Km 23, Jalan Oya.
Tie, the chairman of Tie’s Brothers Hardware Sdn Bhd, was known for his significant contributions to the local business community.
Following the funeral, an appreciation reception was held at the Good Happiness restaurant.
During the luncheon, the Tie family made monetary donations to various local associations, clubs, Lions Clubs, societies and the Junior Chamber.
