KUCHING: About 600 delegates from around the world are expected to converge here for the Asia Carbon Conference (ACC) 2025 on May 29-30.

The conference which will take place at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) will be officiated by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg who will also deliver the keynote address.

One of the major highlights will be a VIP Government Fireside Chat, which will focus on the development of an integrated Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) carbon marketplace and the region’s potential for renewable energy.

Leaders in government and business are expected to share insightful information about the changing regulatory environment and market dynamics during this session.

Additionally, the conference will also offer expert presentations on important themes such as carbon markets, corporate climate responsibilities, and the newest breakthroughs in green technology.

Delegates will get a chance to learn about cutting-edge innovations that will influence carbon management in Asia in the future while participating in panel discussions and networking with international experts.

Organiser Argus Media’s business development vice president Steve Tan said the ACC will provide a regional forum for much-needed collaboration, thought leadership and action.
