KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg has received the Majalah Dewan Masyarakat Edisi Khas at his office at Wisma Pelita here on Thursday.
The magazine handing over ceremony was also graced with the symbolic handover of the cover frame for the Majalah Edisi Khas featuring the Premier on the front cover of the magazine, which was presented by the Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) Malaysia director general Dr Hazami Jahari.
This special edition magazine published in conjunction with Sarawak’s 60th Independence anniversary will be distributed for public reading by the Sarawak DBP in December 2023.
Also present at the ceremony were director of DBP Publishing Department, Fauzilahyaton Mustafa; director of DBP Sarawak Branch Abang Haliman Abang Julai and editor-in-chief of the magazine, Dr Rosmani Omar.
