KUCHING: Premier Integrated Labs, a leader in healthcare diagnostics and part of IHH Healthcare Malaysia, officially opened its first laboratory in Kuching, bringing advanced healthcare services closer to the community.

The lab offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic services, from routine blood tests to advanced molecular diagnostics with its cutting-edge technology and designed to provide timely, accurate, and reliable medical testing sourced from Europe, the USA and China.

According to Premier Integrated Labs chief executive officer (CEO) Hareeff Muhammed, early and accurate diagnoses are crucial in saving lives and improving treatment outcomes.

“Our mission is to ensure that every resident of Kuching has access to high-quality diagnostic services that are both accessible and affordable.”

He said this in his speech during the opening ceremony of the Premier Integrated Labs at Wisma Soon Lien Hong here on Thursday (Jan 23).

Beyond serving local healthcare needs, he also said that the lab envisions positioning Kuching as a leading hub for medical tourism in Borneo.

“By offering world-class services, the facility aims to attract patients from across the region, enhancing Kuching’s reputation as a destination for advanced healthcare.

“We are not merely opening a laboratory, we are embarking on a transformative journey toward better health outcomes for the people of Sarawak.”
