SIBU: The potholes on Jalan Ulu Sungai Merah have been repaired to ensure the safety of motorists using the road.

Flooding in the area had made it difficult for road users to see the potholes, posing a hazard to drivers.
In response, the Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Pelawan Service Centre led by Deputy Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government Datuk Tiang Ming Tee, visited the site to oversee repair works.
“A warning sign and barrier have been put in place, and the potholes have been filled with quick stones,” said Tiang in a video posted on his Service Centre’s Facebook page.
The public was advised to drive carefully when passing through the road.
