KUCHING: Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) operators yesterday gave positive reviews to the Sarawak Timber and SMEs Expo 2019 being held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) from yesterday until Sunday.
Zulina Aini, the founder and managing director of Z.A.Q Enterprise when met gave her thumbs-up to the expo.
“This expo is very good as it helps me promote my product, which is the peria garing.”
“Hopefully a lot of visitors would be able to learn about my product from this expo,” she added happily.
Ireen Dirob, 46, an employee of Proverbs Sixteen Three Enterprise, feels glad for being able to participate in the expo.
“I feel glad and happy to be able to be in this expo and hopefully it would help to promote our products which are the ‘Ginger Stick’ and ‘serunding halia’,” she added.
Kamaria Pandi, 45, the founder of Maria Persona Beauty Herbs, gave positive reviews to the event.
“Yeah, I feel great about this expo as it provides a platform for me to promote my products which are shampoos, soaps and herbal balms made of
cinnamon.
“I hope with this expo, I’ll be able to attract more customers to learn more about my products and buy them,” she said.
Hadi Tamit, 30, the director of “Caramelisme-Biskut Florentine” said, “I am excited about this event, mainly because it is my first time participating in it.”
“I hope that with this expo it will help me to promote my pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and almond biscuits which come in three different flavours namely original, corn flakes and seaweed.”
Hadi hoped that with the expo, it will help to attract more customers and provide brand awareness to his business which started since 2015.
“Although our brand is known throughout Sarawak, we are still trying to get our brand known by more people.
“We usually promote our products online through our Facebook page so with this expo, it provides us a platform to promote our products ‘offline’ so to speak,” he quipped.
