SIBURAN: Fostering positive moral values within the community is essential for promoting harmony in Sarawak, said Datuk Dr Jerip Susil.

The Deputy Minister for Transport emphasised the three key values that formed the foundation of societal strength.

“These include moral values to uphold noble character, unity across races and religions, and welfare to assist those in need.

“Thank you to the Che Hoe Khor Moral Uplifting Society for its efforts in cultivating these positive values, which are crucial for the younger generation to inherit, ensuring harmony in Sarawak’s multicultural society,” he said.

Dr Jerip, who is also Mambong assemblyman, said this during the 28th Anniversary Dinner of the Che Hoe Khor Moral Uplifting Society on Thursday.
