MUKAH: The supply of noodles for preparing kampua mee in this town has been running low since Tuesday, no thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Two coffee shops, situated close to each other, had been experiencing supply shortage.
A coffee shop proprietor identified only as Lu said kampua mee at the stall in his shop finished early on today.
According to him, the supplier was currently under self-quarantine after suspected of being in close contact with an infected person.
“The supplier did not send the noodles to the stall here for the last few days, as he is currently under self-quarantine,” he said today.
He also revealed that the supply of the popular kompia at his shop had run out a few days ago.
Meanwhile, another stall next door had been closed since Tuesday, also due to no supply.
Coffee shop proprietor known only as Yek also gave the same reason for the shortage.
