MIRI: Police seized drugs weighing 12.83g suspected to be crystal methamphetamine during a raid in a house at Desa Senadin Phase 5 on Saturday (May 15).

Two local men, believed to be actively involved in series of house break-ins and theft were also detained in the house.

The duo, aged 30 and 50 years is believed to be drug dealers (tokan) besides carrying out a series of house break-ins and theft in the city.

During the raid, police also discovered cash amounting at RM1, 420, three units of handphone, a sling bag and a vehicle purchase agreement letter.

The case is being investigated under Section 39A (1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
