BINTANGOR: Meradong police (IPD Meradong) is intensifying operations to ensure that folk comply with the movement control order (MCO) in the district.
Meradong district police chief DSP Sekam Anoi is leading the operation and assisted by Rela members.
The operation aimed at restricting movements of people into and out of Bintangor town, as well residential areas and village parks.
Meanwhile, two arrests were made during the operation on Saturday.
The public is also warned not to spread fake news and to obey the MCO.
