SIBU: A man impersonating as a policeman, broke into a house and escaped with a motorcycle today.
The incident occurred around 9.30am in Jalan Hose here.
According to the female house owner, she heard a noise coming from the garage and saw the suspect pushing her motorcycle.
The suspect, who was wearing a police jacket, told the victim that he was taking the motorcycle for investigation.
The victim suspected something amiss and tried to retrieve the motorcycle keys left on the machine.
A struggle broke out and the suspect managed to escape with the motorcycle.
The victim later lodged a police report.
