POCO has officially launched its latest entry-level smartphone, the POCO C71. Set to go on sale starting April 8, the C71 brings impressive specifications for a budget device, targeting users seeking everyday performance without breaking the bank.
According to the official listing, the POCO C71 is powered by the Unisoc T7250 Max chipset, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device is equipped with a 5,200mAh battery, supporting 15W fast charging via a USB-C port, promising all-day usage on a single charge.
On the front, the phone features a sizeable 6.88-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 600 nits peak brightness, and wet touch support — making it suitable for use even with damp fingers. A waterdrop notch at the top houses the 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
At the rear, the C71 sports a 32MP primary camera, accompanied by a secondary sensor for added depth or basic AI features. Additional specifications include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP52 water and dust resistance, and the device ships with Android 15. POCO promises two years of Android updates and four years of security patches — a rare commitment in the budget phone segment.
Colour options include Cool Blue, Desert Gold, and Power Black, offering users a bit of personal flair. However, POCO has not yet confirmed the official price or whether it will be launched in all global markets.
For those seeking an affordable smartphone with modern essentials and a touch of style, the POCO C71 could be worth considering.
