SARIKEI: PMG Healthcare Sdn Bhd aims to open 235 new branches nationwide and achieve a revenue of RM500 million as part of its bold vision for 2025.

This ambitious target was announced by its Executive Chairman, Dr Chieng King Chong, during the PMG 2025 Annual Dinner held at the Sarikei Central Market on Saturday (Jan 11).

“With these new branches, we aim to expand access to friendly, professional, and convenient healthcare services for all Malaysians.

“This is a significant step toward our goal of listing on the stock exchange by 2027,” he said at the event.

PMG currently operates 150 retail pharmacies, 25 medical clinics, and eight dental clinics nationwide.

Additionally, PMG plans to strengthen its operations by leveraging cutting-edge technology and artificial intelligence (AI) across various service aspects.

Through this aggressive expansion strategy, PMG Healthcare aims not only to meet the demand for healthcare services but also to contribute significantly to the nation’s economic growth.

In another development Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii praised the leadership of the Sarawak government under Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg’s, in driving the state’s economic, infrastructure, education, and social welfare development.

In his speech he also highlighted the success of the Sarawak Senior Citizens Health Benefit (SCHB) programme.

“SCHB allows senior citizens to access cashless outpatient treatments at selected panel clinics.

“This programme, which covers medical and dental treatments, has eased the burden on public healthcare facilities,” he said.
