BINTULU: Early education is crucial for nurturing a competitive and high-quality future generation, said Jepak assemblyman Iskandar Turkee.
“Early education is the cornerstone. It not only imparts basic knowledge but also instills moral values and discipline, shaping a child’s character,” he said during the 23rd Bestari Kindergarten Excellence Award Ceremony at Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus today (Jan 5).
Iskandar commended Tadika Bestari for its dedication to early childhood education and urged all stakeholders to support these efforts.
“The commitment of educators and the trust of parents are key to the success of institutions like Tadika Bestari. With collective support, we can build a strong educational foundation for our children,” he added.
Echoing the aspirations of a civilised Malaysia, Iskandar stressed the importance of prioritising early childhood education in community development.
“The future of our nation rests on the shoulders of today’s generation. Kindergartens like Bestari play a pivotal role in ensuring our children are well-prepared for a brighter future,” he said.
“For 23 years, Tadika Bestari has been a preferred choice for the Jepak community, providing quality and comprehensive early childhood education. This success is a testament to the strong collaboration between educators, parents and the local community.”
