KUALA LUMPUR: The last week of July will see the retail prices of petrol and diesel going up.
Effective 12.01am today until next Wednesday (2 Aug), RON95 and RON97 will cost six sen more a litre, at RM2.03 and RM2.28 respectively while the new price of diesel is RM1.99/litre, up three sen.
The new prices were posted on the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry’s website yesterday.
Retail prices of the three fuels are set on weekly basis, Thursday to Wednesday.
The prices for last week (20 July to yesterday) were RON95 (RM1.97/litre); RON97 (RM2.22/litre) and diesel (RM1.96/litre). – Bernama
