KUCHING: The Perodua Dealers Association (PDA) organised a unique Corporate Social Responsibility Programme dedicated to the needy here in conjunction with the forthcoming Lunar New Year.
This year, PDA executive committee members and representatives from across Sarawak came together to support Hope Place Kuching, a local charity organisation dedicated to uplifting marginalised families.
PDA contributed food aid and festive items valued at RM6,000, which was over to Yong Tiong Yieng, Operations Manager of Hope Place.
In a media statement, PDA Malaysia President, Rabitah Datuk Shamshudin, expressed pride in supporting the meaningful CSR initiative, emphasising the spirit of family togetherness.
“We are proud to be part of such a meaningful initiative. Chinese New Year is a time for family, togetherness and giving.
“Through this CSR programme, we hope to bring joy and hope to those who need it most, especially during these challenging times.”
PDA expressed its gratitude to its members, Vendoria Service and Parts Center Sdn Bhd, Perodua Vendoria Sdn Bhd, Gamma Automobile Sdn. Bhd., Regas Miri Sdn Bhd, MD World Sdn Bhd, Erazoom Sd. Bhd, Aerodrive Sdn Bhd, and Otostabil Sdn Bhd and also to DMM Sales Kuching, Perodua Sales Regional Office for East Malaysia, and the broader community for their support in making this initiative successful.
