KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud yesterday received a courtesy call from the committee members of Malaysian Islamic Welfare Organisation (Perkim) Sarawak branch led by its chairman Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib-Alsree in Demak Jaya here.
The visit was to invite Tun Taib and wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Ragad Kurdi Taib to attend Perkim Sarawak’s 30th anniversary celebration on March 30.
Also present was the branch deputy chairman II Datin Noraini Hussin.
