KUCHING: Perdana Petroleum Bhd’s (Perdana) wholly-owned unit Perdana Nautika Sdn Bhd (PNSB) has received two work orders from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for the supply of two units of anchor handling tug & supply (AHTS) vessel.

The contract is expected to commence in second quarter-2019 for a duration of six months, with extension option of six months.

“PNSB shall provide the AHTS vessels with crew and equipment to perform a continuous 24-hour service for assisting and/or servicing drilling rigs, offshore installation, towing and anchor jobs,” Perdana said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

Perdana said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets for financial year ending Dec 31, 2019.

However, the contract will not have any effect on the company’s share capital and shareholding structure.

In another filing, Perdana said PNSB had received another work order from Petronas Carigali for the supply of one AHTS, with the contract having commenced on March 23, 2019 for a period of 184 days, with extension option of 182 days.
